Shut Up and Listen
She’s just telling you what she wants because she’s always put your needs and wants above her own. All she wants is for you to listen. Well, she’s wrong to think you’re going to listen because not only are you too narrow minded to listen to her, but you also put her down and make her regret ever telling you anything. Everything has to be about you, what you want, what you think should happen, what you want to see. News flash, the world doesn’t revolve around you! Think about what she wants because she’s always stood right by you, defending you every time we get mad at you. You’re the one always talking about how you’re going to do the things she’s asked for they’re the same things you want; however, you keep saying, “We can’t afford it right now.” That’s your excuse for everything! What you don’t know is that you’re not as poor as you say you are; you can do anything you want right now because you do have money, you can afford a few more luxury items that you’ve been saying you want. Sometimes, you just have to take a risk and do something spontaneously and not always think about the drawbacks or consequences. You just need to stop and listen for once.
